Here are some pictures of Sunday mornings in my area. Always a horrible minefield of broken glass, sick, wee wee and litter. This is an interactive post - I've included some hymn lyrics, to make up for the fact that most people out boozing/weeing/vomiting near my house last night won't have managed to get up in time for church. All together now.

Hey D.C. isn't much better. Just outside of Union Station, I have to step through a small entry to get into the Postal Square building to get to work each morning. The entry is used as a toilet by the homeless and the stench of urine in is often so strong it burns the nostrils. In Budapest, you've at least got a decent rail system to get out of the city. In D.C. there's nowhere to go but out to the strip malls in suburbia.
Funny post! Budapesti have a long way to go when it comes to dealing with their trash. Dog crap too. People are so cavalier about littering here. NYC in the 80s posted signs that said: "Litter is filthy and disgusting so don't do it." Wonder how that direct approach would work with the magyar.
